Oh it feels so nice when I get home from working all night (as an NICU RN at UCSF) and I’m greeted by my family rowing in to get me. Today, rather than picking me up and taking me back out , they hopped out of the dinghy to roam around on land for the day. I hopped in the dinghy to row it back to the boat so that I can get a few hours of sleep in.  This seems to work pretty well for us, but we are definitely looking forward to when we leave and have a good little break from work.  Off to bed I go. A few months back we took a camping trip down to Capitola (Santa Cruz) with our friends. Our kids can’t get enough beach time, even if it is raining. I see this as a good sign for our future of many beach days!

I’m not really sure what more to say about this in writing. I think the pictures pretty much say it all. I’m surprised we didn’t get kicked out or the Laundromat.  Doing laundry around here is not cheap, but at least we can stick all three kids in one machine for a good wash’n (don’t worry, not really)!!! I am looking forward to when we are sailing south and practically living in our bathing suits. Hand-washing with  less clothes sounds a little more attractive.
